Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bluedoor, operated by Actionbase Inc. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use Bluedoor for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

The service

Bluedoor helps people find public records and prepare, make, and track requests to public agencies. Signing in or completing account setup does not itself submit a records request. We will describe any request submission and payment steps before you take them. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops.

Your account and use

Provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Use Bluedoor lawfully. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access another account, submit content you lack the right to use, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the site.

Requests and public records

Public agencies control their own responses, fees, timing, and disclosure decisions. Bluedoor cannot guarantee that an agency will respond, release particular records, or meet a particular deadline. Records and request information displayed on the site may come from agencies or other third parties and may be incomplete or contain errors. Check important information against its source. Bluedoor does not provide legal advice.

Your materials

You retain your rights in information you submit. You give us permission to use it as needed to provide the service you request, including communicating with you and, when you authorize a request, sending relevant details to public agencies or their request portals. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Some request activity and responsive public records may be published after review.

Payments

If a paid feature is offered, its price and what you are buying will be shown before checkout. A payment does not guarantee that a public agency will release records. Any agency fee or additional service charge must be presented separately before it is charged. Purchased request credits and refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Bluedoor available and accurate, but the service is provided as available. We may restrict access if an account is used in violation of these terms or creates security or legal risk. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes and contact
