Work typeConcrete
Work category-
DescriptionThe project consists of the installation of a 4-inch thick reinforced concrete slab measuring 12 feet by 20 feet to serve as the foundation for a proposed shed/workshop. Site preparation will include clearing, stripping of vegetation and organic material, and grading to achieve proper elevation and drainage. The subgrade will be excavated as needed and compacted to provide a stable base. A 2-inch layer of compacted gravel base will be installed over the prepared subgrade to support the slab and promote drainage. Prior to concrete placement, the site will be treated for termites in accordance with applicable pest control standards and local building requirements. Formwork will be installed to establish the slab dimensions and ensure proper alignment, level, and thickness control. Reinforcement will consist of welded wire rebar mesh placed within the slab to provide tensile strength and minimize cracking. Concrete will be placed at a uniform 4-inch thickness, finished with a broom finish unless otherwise specified, and cured in accordance with standard construction practices. Control joints will be installed as needed to reduce shrinkage cracking. The slab is intended to support a shed/workshop structure and will comply with applicable local building codes and inspection requirements. No plumbing or electrical work is included in this scope. Final cleanup will include removal of excess materials and restoration of disturbed surrounding areas / LOT 22-2 SUNNILAND
