# bluedoor — Licensed Contractors data

Florida licensed-contractor data: merged contractor firms, permit and public
work events, per-source local license identities, DBPR state licenses and
complaints, county coverage, and source provenance. Data pages are
server-rendered from the bluedoor Licensed Contractors API and show the exact
API calls used to render each page.

JSON convention: each "Get this page with API" block links to the same-origin
proxy /api/lc/<api-path>, which mirrors the api.bluedoor.sh path shown on the
page and keeps API credentials server-side.

## Browsing notes
- Counties and sources are the primary navigation dimensions and are fully
  enumerated. Work-event categories are browsed scoped to a county
  (e.g. /work-events?county=Leon&work_category=roofing).
- License status filters: /licenses?status=Current,Active (also Inactive,
  Delinquent,Active, Null and Void, Revoked, Suspended,Active).

## Caveats
- A contractor firm is a merged identity from public permit and license sources,
  not a verified legal entity.
- Observed project value is the permit/job value reported by the source, not
  verified revenue.
- DBPR licenses and complaints are Florida state enrichment; coverage is
  fragmented by county. Check each county page for coverage status before
  treating a county as complete.
