Please refer to this survey for the location, diameter, and number of protected trees and post it on the job site prior to any land clearing activity.\n\nTree protection barricades are mandatory for all identified trees in the designated setback areas and for trees in the buildable area which will be used as replacement value.\n\nRoot raking any tree will disqualify that tree from being used as replacement value toward removed trees. \n\nProtected trees that have been removed, damaged, or improperly protected will require replacement. Replacement is calculated at 15% of the removed CSSI of protected trees. In addition to the CSSI replacement a per tree removal fee will be added per tree.\nThis site (may or does) contain wetlands and/or wetland buffers. This tree permit does not authorize any clearing, filling, or other alteration to wetlands and/or buffers on site\n\nAny and all tree clearing, and any required replacement, must be done in accordance with the approved plans dated 2/1/2024. Tree protection must be installed, and approved by the County Forester, prior to clearing or site preparation. Please contact the County Forester at (386) 736-5927 once the tree protection has been installed on site. \n\nA perpetual Tree Preservation Easement has been provided and dedicated to the County of Volusia, on lots as indicated on this plat, for the express purpose of the preservation and longevity of the trees therein. The following are prohibited in these easements: structures, impervious surface of any kind including driveways or sidewalks, trenching for utilities, mowing, edging, changing the natural grade, or stockpiling or storage of any materials. The placement of sod and irrigation is also prohibited. Limited crossings of the easement may be permitted as approved by the County Forester, if such improvements are constructed of pervious material that does not change the natural grade or damage the roots of the tree.
