Penal Code - PEN 494. PART 1. OF CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS [25. - 680.4.] TITLE 13. OF CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY [450. - 593g.] CHAPTER 5. Larceny [484. - 502.9.] All the provisions of this Chapter apply where the property taken is an instrument for the payment of money, evidence of debt, public security, or passage ticket, completed and ready to be issued or delivered, although the same has never been issued or delivered by the makers thereof to any person as a purchaser or owner. Enacted 1872.
