Penal Code - PEN 1291. PART 2. OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE [681. - 1620.] TITLE 10. MISCELLANEOUS PROCEEDINGS [1268. - 1424.5.] CHAPTER 1. Bail [1268. - 1320.5.] ARTICLE 4. Bail on Appeal [1291. - 1292.] In the cases in which defendant may be admitted to bail upon an appeal, the order admitting him to bail may be made by any Magistrate having the power to issue a writ of habeas corpus, or by the Magistrate before whom the trial was had. Amended by Code Amendments 1877-78, Ch. 89.
