Description Job Summary: Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Winnipeg, MB). Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted   Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software Qualifications Key Focus Areas Safety: Adhere to all HSE policies, perform hazard assessments, and ensure safe work practices at all times Customer Service: Deliver high-quality repairs that meet or exceed customer expectations Reliability: Show up prepared, on time, and ready to contribute every day Dependability: Take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments Computer Savvy: compentence and confidence with the use of web-based diagnostic tools, engine and chassis scanners What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related equipment Complete work orders accurately and efficiently including all documentation Follow all safety procedures and perform work in accordance with company and regulatory standards Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding repair status and findings Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Support team goals by delivering reliable, on-time service What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in diesel engine repair Commitment to safety-first work practices Proven track record of reliability and dependability Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively Why Join Us?
