The work is visible, it's high-quality, and it ranges from model homes and corporate suites to resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, and game rooms.</p>\n<p>We're looking for an Interior Design Drafter who brings both technical skill and creative curiosity to the work. This role supports senior designers and architects across all project phases - from early concept through construction - and is a real opportunity to develop your craft inside a collaborative team that takes pride in what it produces. The best candidates here don't just execute tasks; they ask smart questions, flag issues early, and help make the work better.</p>\n<p>Visit our website to view our portfolio! www.edgewoodproperties.com/residential-properties/</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Technical Drawing & Documentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop technical drawings including space plans, floor covering plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), electrical plans, and concept elevations.</li>\n <li>Maintain all drawing revisions and resubmit updated sets based on redlines in an accurate and timely manner.</li>\n <li>Review and respond to RFIs and shop drawings, ensuring design intent is preserved through the construction process.</li>\n <li>Effectively receive and act on direction from senior staff to document and convey design requirements and solutions to the broader design and construction team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Design Development & Visualization</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Help create and develop digital and physical presentation boards and layouts for internal and client review.</li>\n <li>Develop base 3D models to support and communicate the overall design concept during early project phases.</li>\n <li>Contribute to conveying and maintaining design intent through Design and Pre-Construction/Bidding phases, including supporting product and vendor selection.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration & Continuous Improvement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with designers, architects, vendors, and construction teams across all project phases in a highly integrated team environment.</li>\n <li>Proactively identify roadblocks, ask questions, and bring forward suggestions - a culture of continuous improvement is expected and encouraged here.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with internal resources, remote teams, and vendor partners to keep projects moving forward.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Requirements & Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program.</li>\n <li>3+ years of related interior design drafting experience.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years of experience in multifamily residential or hospitality interiors.</li>\n <li>Construction knowledge and understanding of how design decisions affect the build process.</li>\n <li>Strong millwork detailing knowledge.</li>\n <li>Project management experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>     </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental and vision benefits, life insurance, </p>\n<p>a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancement.
