This role works side-by-side with skilled tradespeople and the project foreman to interpret blueprints, handle heavy materials, and ensure every piece is placed with precision. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Core Responsibilities</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Structural Steel Assembly</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Safely install, align, and secure steel beams, columns, and girders according to project specifications and blueprints.</li>\n<li>Assemble and connect structural and miscellaneous steel components for a variety of projects.</li>\n<li>Ensure accuracy and precision during installation to meet engineering and safety standards.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Rigging Equipment and Operation</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment to lift and position steel materials.</li>\n<li>Use rigging gear, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.</li>\n<li>Assist in welding, cutting, and bolting steel components as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Safety and diploma or GED.</li>\n<li>Completion of an Ironworker Apprenticeship Program or equivalent vocational training.</li>\n<li>5 or more years of ironworking or related construction experience, with strong background in structural steel erection.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.</li>\n<li>Experience operating heavy equipment, rigging tools, and welding apparatus.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform physically demanding work, including working at heights and handling heavy materials.</li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel to job sites in the Gulf Coast, Nashville, and Huntsville regions.</li>\n<li>Eligible for a TWIC card.</li>\n<li>Reliable transportation.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass a drug screen and background check and remain compliant with random testing requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Welding ability with certifications preferred.</li>\n<li>Certifications such as NCCER, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30.</li>\n<li>Experience working with PEMB
