    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Title:&nbsp; </strong>Maintenance Technician II</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp; </strong>. &nbsp;Maintenance Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for independently performing maintenance and repair of CNC machinery and facility systems. Handles preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and minor fabrication tasks. Requires solid mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting junior technicians as needed.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibility:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machinery including turning centers, dial machines, and transfer systems.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot mechanical issues in gearboxes, spindles, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems using diagrams and precision instruments.</li>\n <li>Dismantle and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand or power tools.</li>\n <li>Fabricate or repair components using machine shop tools and welding equipment.</li>\n <li>Independently complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records.</li>\n <li>Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; place orders as needed.</li>\n <li>Operate computer systems to monitor and control mechanical and utility systems.</li>\n <li>Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide technical support.</li>\n <li>Perform general facility repairs and assist with building upkeep.</li>\n <li>Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment.</li>\n <li>May assist in training and mentoring Level I technicians.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Academic/Educational Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>High school diploma or GED (required)</p>\n<p>Associate degree or technical diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field (preferred)</p>\n<p>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal degrees or certifications.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>2–5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment<strong> &nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Solid hands-on experience with CNC machinery and facility maintenance.</p>\n<p>Possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical concepts.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Capable of performing preventative maintenance independently</p>\n<p>Can troubleshoot and repair common mechanical issues</p>\n<p>Familiar with using precision instruments and diagnostic tools</p>\n<p>May assist in training Level I technicians</p>\n<p>Comfortable documenting maintenance activities and using maintenance software</p>\n<p><strong><u>What Linamar Has to Offer</u></strong><u>&nbsp;</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Compensation</li>\n <li>Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental &amp; Vision etc.</li>\n <li>401k Program</li>\n <li>Opportunities for career advancement.</li>\n <li>Sustainability Counsel</li>\n <li>Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.</li>\n <li>Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>About Us</u></strong><u>&nbsp;</u></p>\n<p>Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
