    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Identify mobile equipment defects and set priorities on opportunities for reliability improvement by mining information using reliability databases and inputs from various sources.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide visible felt leadership during interaction with other team members and as a salaried staff representative in support of and demonstrating the NGM - DNA (Core Values)</li><li>Demonstrate Teamwork, Interpersonal Skills, Communication with Stakeholders and other skills and behaviors important to <strong>how</strong> results are achieved in the surface mine maintenance environment <strong>at site</strong>. &nbsp;</li><li>Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings effectively managing forecasted and budgeted expenditures</li><li>Statistically analyze equipment and performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability</li><li>Provide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) with maintenance and operations personnel</li><li>Develop Nevada Gold Mines’ Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability-culture</li><li>Cultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEM’s that drive improvement in equipment</li><li>Maintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPI’s&nbsp;</li><li>Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projects</li><li>Proficiently utilize maintenance operating system (S4-HANA, SAP) to record and report out on maintenance activity in a continuous improvement strategy &nbsp;</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in the maintenance division and help foster the culture to ensure its longevity</li><li>Ensure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implemented&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team <strong>required</strong></li><li>Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills <strong>required</strong></li><li>Bachelors of Science in Engineering or 5+ years in a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic position or equivalent work experience in a reliability role <strong>preferred</strong></li><li>Training in CAT and Sandvik underground equipment <strong>preferred</strong></li><li>Strong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN <strong>preferred</strong></li><li>Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as: oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions <strong>preferred</strong></li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project <strong>preferred</strong></li><li>Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager <strong>preferred</strong></li></ul><p><strong>What We Can Offer You&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A comprehensive compensation package including bonuses benefits, and stock purchase plans where applicable</li><li>Ability to make a difference and lasting impact</li><li>Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team</li><li>An Opportunity to transform Traditional Mining into&nbsp;the future of&nbsp;Digital Mining</li><li>Opportunities to grow and learn with the industry colleagues are endless</li><li>Access to a variety of career opportunities across Nevada Gold Mine locations</li><li>Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer</li></ul>",
