In this role, you&rsquo;ll lead the design and delivery of impactful water and wastewater treatment projects, helping to create sustainable solutions that enhance everyday life. If you&rsquo;re passionate about improving communities and ready to take the next step in your career, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities and Skills:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and on-time completion.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Support business development through proposal input, client meetings, and solution-focused presentations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Partner with clients to understand their needs, present innovative technical solutions, and build lasting relationships.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Perform process modeling, hydraulic analyses, and develop design documentation, including PFDs and P&amp;IDs.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Specify and design treatment systems such as activated sludge, BNR, MBR, filtration, and disinfection technologies.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering disciplines to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and innovation.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Participate in site visits during design, construction, and start-up to support performance optimization and troubleshooting.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited); a Master&rsquo;s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is a plus.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required; BCEE certification preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">8+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering, ideally within a consulting or design environment.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong background in treatment process design and optimization for municipal or industrial facilities.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Proficiency with process modeling and design software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X, WaterCAD, AutoCAD, Revit).</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Solid understanding of PFDs, P&amp;IDs, and overall system design principles.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Experience with a range of treatment technologies, including activated sludge, BNR, MBR, filtration, disinfection, RO, and biosolids systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide teams, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver high-quality results.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to water and wastewater systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Self-driven and detail-oriented, with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Active involvement in professional organizations such as AWWA or WEF is a plus.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Why GMC</strong>?</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">At Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC), we build more than structures&mdash;we build communities.
