This role involves reviewing job orders and blueprints, setting up molds, adjusting parameters, and monitoring production to maintain optimal machinery conditions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Operate injection molding machine, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of simple polymer components.</li><li>Review job orders and simple blueprints to understand molding requirements.</li><li>Set up molds, adjust parameters, and monitor production, maintaining optimal operating conditions for the machinery.</li><li>Comfortable wearing respirator for different periods of time.</li><li>Cycle molding machine and monitor its progress while performing secondary operations such as deflashing, inspection, visual and mechanical application of lubricating grease, and packaging of finished product.</li><li>Inspect finished products for defects, following quality assurance guidelines and escalating quality issues when needed.</li><li>Use hand tools like files, hammer, scrapper, air nozzle to blow off excess and clean molds, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment.</li><li>Apply silicone mold release with a brush to ensure things don’t stick, facilitating efficient production processes.</li><li>Perform sandblasting operations as required.</li><li>Document completed jobs, ensuring accuracy and prompt reporting of issues.</li><li>Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.</li><li>Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.</li><li>Work with departmental mentors to gain and apply feedback in pursuit of improved work quality.</li><li>Maintain regular and punctual attendance.</li><li>Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.</li><li>Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.</li><li>Other responsibilities as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll Need to Succeed:</strong></p><p>Job Requirements ( To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.</li><li>Entry level experience in a production environment.</li><li>Ability to use hand tools.</li><li>Basic knowledge of machine controls and programs.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned materials requests.</li><li>Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of production support departments. Able to escalate and explain issues to team leads and supervisors as needed.</li><li>Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via internal applications.</li><li>Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities, weights, and measurements.</li><li>Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team members inside and outside of the department.</li><li>Good critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and understand efforts to improve processes.</li><li>Good attention to detail with the ability to complete precise tasks and follow instructions accurately.</li><li>Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety &amp; Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ability to read blueprints.</li><li>Precision measuring instruments such as scales and calipers</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Ready to make an impact and become an employee-owner?
