    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope</span> </p>\n<p>Part of the Airframe Manufacturing and Assembly Team focussing on the ongoing production of airframe items, the installation of systems and avionics onto aircraft, and support during the commissioning process of new aircraft.   </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The candidate will be expected to be comfortable working within a typical aerospace or engineering assembly space as part of a larger production line for the Windracers ULTRA. They will be comfortable moving from task to task throughout the manufacturing process as part of a smaller sub team. The work will involve following standard engineering drawings and specifications, with training provided where required.   </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The role will involve both bench based and standing work, as well as opportunities to work away from the production facility supporting our postproduction flight operations within the UK.   </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities </span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on assembly of airframe components, sub-assemblies, and fuel systems from build packs to meet scheduled customer demand. </li>\n<li>Testing and qualification of sub-systems following standard operating procedures (SOPs). </li>\n<li>Feedback of process and assembly pain points to Manufacturing and Engineering Teams. </li>\n<li>Installation of avionics systems onto aircraft, following SOPs. </li>\n<li>On site support as required during installation and flight testing of new systems (within the UK). </li>\n<li>Continued management of workspace, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness is maintained. </li>\n<li>Ensuring stock levels of consumable items under your control are maintained and request for additional consumables made to the purchasing team. </li>\n<li>Assisting with aircraft level system acceptance testing, where required. </li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Documenting work carried out to create a digital aircraft build logs.</span> </li>\n<li>Other responsibilities as agreed with your manager.   </li>\n<li>Act always in a safe manner and in support of our Health and safety agenda.   </li>\n<li>Work in accordance with company values, policies, procedures and guidelines.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and qualifications </span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technically capable with good logical reasoning  </li>\n<li>Ability to adapt and learn new skills  </li>\n<li>Good presentation and communication skills </li>\n<li>3+ years hands-on experience in engineering or manufacturing field </li>\n<li>Ability to follow and give feedback on engineering drawings or manufacturing packs </li>\n<li>Manufacturing Process Knowledge </li>\n<li>General workshop light machining experience </li>\n<li>Previous experience with Microsoft Office Software and general computer skills </li>\n<li>Prior relevant industry experience (desirable)   </li>\n<li>Experience using MCAD and ECAD tools (desirable)  </li>\n<li>UAV industry knowledge (desirable)  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification Requirements </span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right to work within the UK. </li>\n<li>Vetting and security clearance (BPSS obtained within probation period).   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other </span>  </p>\n<p>The above is only an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role.
