    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Description - Die Cast Mold Maker</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Zinga Industries in Reedsburg, WI is seeking a full-time, on-site Die Cast Mold Maker.</p>\n<p>The Die Cast Mold Maker will design, build, repair, and maintain complex precision metal molds (dies) used in high-pressure casting machines to produce metal parts. </p>\n<p>The Die Cast Mold Maker will interpret technical blueprints, operate toolroom machinery (lathes, mills, CNC), and perform preventative maintenance to ensure high-quality, high-volume production.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities - Die Cast Mold Maker</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Mold Repair:</strong> Repair or replace worn/damaged surfaces and components like pins, runners, and vents to extend tool life.</li>\n <li><strong>Trim Die Fabrication & Assembly:</strong> Build, adjust, and repair trim dies, fixtures using common tool steels.</li>\n <li><strong>Toolroom Operations:</strong> Set up and operate machinery such as grinders, lathes, milling machines, and CNCs to machine tool components to precise tolerances.</li>\n <li><strong>Maintenance & Troubleshooting:</strong> Perform preventive maintenance, disassemble and clean complex molds, and troubleshoot casting defects related to mold issues.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Drawing Analysis:</strong> Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to verify dimensions and ensure compliance.</li>\n <li><strong>Coordinate Subcontractors:</strong> Direct and Lead outside service providers for new tooling and repairs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements - Die Cast Mold Maker</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3+ years in tool and die making, specifically with die-cast or plastic injection tooling.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Knowledge of CNC machine tools, CAM, and precision measuring instruments.</li>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or GED; apprenticeship completion or technical degree is highly preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>Physical/Soft Skills:</strong> High attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Common Qualifications - Die Cast Mold Maker</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of materials (tool steel) and heat treatment.</li>\n <li>Tool Steel TIG Welding Capabilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits - Die Cast Mold Maker</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>$32.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Relocation / Sign On Bonus Available</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurances</strong></li>\n <li><strong>401K</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Paid Time Off</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>More About Filtration Group</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Filtration Group is on a mission to make the world safer, healthier and more productive.
