As a Foreperson Sprinkler Fitter, you will lead the installation of a 6 story residential build in beautiful Squamish BC. Project anticipated to last 2 years, </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold;\"><em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Key Responsibilities:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Reading and interpreting blueprints, evaluating plans diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals in relation to work to be completed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Evaluating apprentices and journeypersons skillsets on the job.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Tracking and maintaining project schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Site trade meetings as-well as representing our company and vision. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Preparing take offs of material and labour requirements for work scopes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Assigning work to team members on site based on individual competencies as well as work scope and materials requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Liaising with clients along with, on-site supervision to ensure high levels of customer service and effective communication.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Ensuring preparation and ordering of stock materials for execution of assigned daily work orders and optimizing material utilization.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Examining and inspecting work progress, equipment, and worksites to ensure client specifications are met.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Ensuring all work is executed using safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Training and mentoring other team members including apprentices and field service labour.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Performing in-field sprinkler commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance and on systems to including fire sprinkler wet systems, fire sprinkler dry systems, fire sprinkler pre-action systems, fire pumps, fire hydrants, backflow preventers and special hazard systems.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">You are an enthusiastic individual seeking a career full of growth and believe in our core values; you prioritize customer satisfaction by creating connection and value empowering others. The successful applicant will contribute to a respectful, flexible, and upbeat team environment that values diversity and inclusion for all. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold;\"><em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">The ideal candidate would have the following attributes, strengths and experience:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Journeymen Sprinkler Fitting ticket.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Minimum of 5 years experience installing and servicing sprinkler systems and associated piping.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Minimum of 2 years of experience being a foreperson on sprinkler projects. Having run multiple projects is considered an asset.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Great Customer Service Skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Able to work 40hrs per week (overtime and on-call rotation as needed).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d;\">PLEASE NOTE:</span></span><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d;\"> Open to both internal and external applicants.
