Description
Your mission
As a Supply Chain Agent (m/f/d) , you are the driving force behind our logistics operations and facility management, contributing to a smooth workflow. Together with the Logistics & Supply Chain team, you are responsible for logistics processes at our headquarters in Mohnheim am Rhein and are also the central contact person for facility management.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with incoming shipments. Accurately book all incoming goods into the ERP system in a timely manner. Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data. Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency. Oversee the receipt of incoming biological samples, ensuring all samples are handled in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, including shipment documentation, inspection reports, and ERP entries. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IATA guidelines and data protection directives. Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or completed training as a Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience Proficiency in ERP systems is highly desirable Strong command of German, both written and spoken; proficiency in English is advantageous
