    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Resonetics is seeking a hands-on Senior Metrology Technician to take ownership of measurement systems across both New Product Introduction (NPI) and legacy production.</p>\n<p>This is a working lead role (70–80% hands-on) — you will be programming, running, troubleshooting, and improving measurement systems while also setting direction and standardizing how measurement is done.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is best suited for a highly skilled CMM programmer / metrology expert who wants real ownership, not just execution.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What You’ll Own</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Day-to-day performance of all measurement systems (CMM, vision, laser, custom gaging)</li>\n <li>Inspection strategy for new products (FAI, validation builds, early development support)</li>\n <li>Measurement performance in production (speed, accuracy, repeatability)</li>\n <li>Standardization of measurement methods across parts and programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Why Join Resonetics?</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on high-precision, tight-tolerance components</li>\n <li>Be a go-to technical expert with real ownership</li>\n <li>Direct impact on both new product launches and production performance</li>\n <li>Opportunity to shape how measurement is done, not just follow it</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Program, run, and optimize CMM and vision systems (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)</li>\n <li>Build inspection strategies directly from prints and CAD models</li>\n <li>Lead and execute MSA, GR&R, and capability studies</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot measurement issues and drive root cause resolution</li>\n <li>Maintain calibration systems and ensure traceability</li>\n <li>Support validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new equipment and processes</li>\n <li>Partner with engineering on GD&T interpretation and inspection approach</li>\n <li>Reduce inspection cycle time without compromising accuracy</li>\n <li>Train and mentor technicians; write work instructions and establish standard work</li>\n <li>Provide design input on measurement fixture design and development.</li>\n <li>Support audits (ISO 13485, FDA)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience</li>\n <li>2-5+ years in metrology, CMM programming, or precision measurement</li>\n <li>Strong, practical GD&T expertise (ASME Y14.5)</li>\n <li>Proven ability to program and troubleshoot CMMs independently</li>\n <li>Experience supporting both NPI and production environments</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of MSA, GR&R, and measurement fundamentals</li>\n <li>Experience with Minitab Measurement Systems Analysis (or equivalent statistical software)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in medical device or tight-tolerance manufacturing</li>\n <li>Experience working directly from CAD models (not just prints)</li>\n <li>Exposure to multiple platforms (CMM, vision, laser)</li>\n <li>Experience mentoring or leading other technicians</li>\n <li>ASQ (CQT/CQE) or GD&T certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What Success Looks Like</p>\n<ul>\n <li>New products are inspection-ready without delays</li>\n <li>GR&R and measurement capability are consistently strong</li>\n <li>Inspection methods are standardized and repeatable</li>\n <li>Measurement issues are quickly identified and resolved</li>\n <li>Cycle times improve without sacrificing accuracy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
