    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Housekeeping Manager</strong></p>\n<p>Manage housekeeping operations in accordance with established guest service, quality and sustainability standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong> </p>\n<p>Executive Housekeeper – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Focus</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.</li>\n <li>Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Inspect guest rooms, public areas and grounds for cleanliness, appearance and safety.</li>\n <li>Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services and resolve guests’ complaints and concerns.</li>\n <li>Prepare schedules based upon occupancy and assign duties to associates.</li>\n <li>Take inventory and submit periodic inventory orders to ensure supplies are purchased in a timely manner. </li>\n <li>Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions.</li>\n <li>Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Comply with HHM internal audit standards pertaining to key control and risk management areas (I.E. lost and found, key control, guest room safety).</li>\n <li>Maintain departmental expenses in line with the budget as described by the General Manager.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with specific brand standards.</li>\n <li>Be aware of and communicate service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.</li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits; follow MSDS and OSHA standards; wear protective safety equipment and participate in safety committees as directed.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Background and Skill</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>One year previous housekeeping supervisor experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling or crouching. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>Enjoy the only All-Suite Holiday Inn Resort in Orlando, Florida at the entrance to the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort where Kids 11 and under eat free for breakfast and dinner! <strong>A Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark</strong> is located in the heart of Orlando, one mile from the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
