This hands on leadership role works closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to keep service organized, efficient, and hospitality driven while helping the culinary team deliver thoughtful dining experiences across the resort. What You'll Do Support daily culinary operations, including preparation, service, timing, quality, and presentation. Lead and coach culinary team members through clear direction, steady communication, and active floor presence. Assist with ordering, inventory, food cost, labor control, waste reduction, and kitchen organization. Maintain consistent standards across menu items, specials, sauces, soups, and seasonal offerings. Help train team members on recipes, technique, sanitation, safety, and service expectations. Support scheduling, production planning, and other administrative needs as assigned. Monitor equipment needs and communicate repair or maintenance concerns promptly. Partner with front of house teams to support smooth service and a consistent guest experience. Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards. What You’ll Bring At least two years of supervisory experience in an upscale resort, hotel, restaurant, or high volume culinary environment. ServSafe or applicable state food safety certification required. Strong culinary fundamentals and a practical understanding of kitchen operations, food cost, and quality control. Ability to lead, delegate, and support a diverse kitchen team with professionalism and care. Strong organization, attention to detail, and sound decision making under pressure. Positive attitude, calm presence, and commitment to high standards. Ability to communicate clearly in English. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions This role operates in a commercial kitchen and resort environment. Conditions may include heat, sharp objects, moving equipment, varying noise levels, and seasonal changes in business volume.
