You will utilize cutting-edge GenAI/LLM technologies to enhance our next-generation GenAI platform, setting new standards for Fortinet products.</p><p>Our team is dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions such as FortiGPT and other GenAI innovations, aiming to seamlessly integrate AI across our product range.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, test, and maintain Fortinet’s GenAI/ML software systems.</li><li>Direct involvement in troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing products.</li><li>Execute system integrations in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.</li><li>Ensure code quality and manage updates using source control systems.</li><li>Optimize and support existing software systems and document maintenance procedures.</li><li>Develop and implement new software features promptly and with high quality according to specifications.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Strong programming skills are required. Candidates should have a CS/AI major for entry-level (fresh undergraduate/graduate) roles, approximately <strong>5 years of software development experience</strong> for Senior-level positions, and <strong>10+ years of experience</strong> for Staff Engineer roles.</span></li><li>Proficiency in Python on Linux is crucial. Experience in other programming languages, such as Java and C++ is a plus</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a deep understanding of AWS or Azure, and containerized environments, Docker is preferred.</li><li>Solid understanding of LLM and associated development environments; experience in GenAI development is beneficial.</li><li>Hands-on experience in Web development</li><li>Hands-on experience in relational and vector database development</li><li>Hands-on expertise in large-scale and high-performance software design, architecture, and multithreading programming</li><li>Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including version control, coding standards, and code reviews.</li><li>Familiarity with QA standards and software development principles.</li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle various tasks.</li><li>Highly motivated, responsible, adaptable, capable of learning new technologies swiftly, and keen in innovation.</li><li>Excellent team collaboration, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 3.33px;\"><li><span><strong>US citizenship is required</strong></span></li><li>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.</li></ul><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,100-$180,100.
