    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>MISSION</strong></p><p>Performs light electrical and mechanical assembly of scientific laboratory equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Reads and follows written instruction on proper assembly of sub-assemblies and final product</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Uses wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and both mechanical and wiring samples as part of assembly instruction documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Uses small hand tools to perform light mechanical assembly</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Operates electrical and pneumatic hand tools</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Verifies and documents conformance to specification of assemblies and final products</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Performs some minor testing of sub-assemblies per assembly procedure</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Confers with engineers and supervisory personnel to resolve assembly problems</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Uses soldering irons and small hand tools for making electrical connections</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>EDUCATION</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">High school degree or equivalent</li></ul><p>WORK EXPERIENCE</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">2 years of experience in electrical mechanical assembly</li></ul><p>SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Familiarity with identification of electronic components, wire, and hardware</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to read and understand mechanical/electronic drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly, including wire stripping, crimping, soldering, plumbing, sheet metal, and machine part assembly</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Self-inspects work throughout the assembly process and escalates any issues or concerns</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Proficient oral and written communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Familiar with safety and ESD requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Familiar with ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Customer focused and meets all quality, quantity, and established manufacturing practices to satisfy customer requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Previous experience working with small, precision, mechanical or optical assemblies.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Proficient with basic computer operation.
