We&#39;re looking for part-time individuals to join our amazing team here at Pioneers Medical Center Home Health.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ol><li>Must be able to perform all essential certified nurse aide duties and pass the certified nurse aide competency tests.</li><li>Performs duties, as assigned by the staff nurse, including bathing, showering, oral hygiene, nail care, foot care, skin care, pressure relief, dressing client, feeding, bladder and bowel training and transferring and positioning client.</li><li>Assist clients with basic nursing care including transferring from bed to chair, range of motion exercises, ambulation, medication reminding, nutrition, vital signs, positioning client. &nbsp;May be required to obtain filled prescriptions for clients, from drug store, that are not controlled substances.</li><li>Describes the activities of daily living and demonstrates the ability to use techniques to assist the client to meet these activities.</li><li>Performs all aspects of client care in an environment that optimizes client and staff safety.</li><li>May be required to provide light housekeeping chores such as assisting with laundry, washing dishes, etc. &nbsp;Cleaning the patient area after bathing, or making the bed after getting a patient up for the day is part of the care required. &nbsp;If you make a mess caring for the patient please clean it up.</li><li>The home health aide is expected to look and act professional, reliable, compassionate, cheerful, and must enjoy working with people. &nbsp;The Nursing Assistant will have to schedule the patient visits and be timely. &nbsp;The nursing assistant will need to communicate changes in visit time directly with the patient and family in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.</li><li>Identifies and communicates concerning client findings immediately, including, but not limited to, pain, fever, injury, infection, to the case manager or department manager.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to chart according to professional standards.</li><li>Able to learn and use multiple computer software products and/or web-based tools.</li><li>Works as part of the interdisciplinary team including HHA, RN, manager, office staff, OT, PT, and MD.&nbsp;</li><li>Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.</li><li>Assists with provision of community services (Foot Clinic, and BP Clinic)</li><li>Works closely with all departments to ensure maximum benefit to the organization.&nbsp;</li><li>Follows home health and organizational policies and procedures.</li><li>Communicates any client complaints to the staff nurse and/or director.</li><li>Adhere to standard precautions per PMC protocol.</li><li>Installs, removes, troubleshoots, and maintains supplies for the Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) competently.</li><li>Maintains accurate, legible records regarding installation, test calls, and problem shooting for PERS.</li><li>Files departmental paperwork and documents in appropriate areas.</li></ol><p style=\"margin-top: 0px; font-size: 12px;\">&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Qualifications of a Successful Candidate</strong></h3><p style=\"margin-top: 0px; font-size: 12px;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
