We are looking for a Marine Systems Technician to support our 56 line with troubleshooting, rigging, warranty work, and customer support both in-house and in the field.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is ideal for someone with strong marine systems knowledge who enjoys problem solving, working hands-on, and supporting customers at a high level.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with marine electrical and mechanical systems</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills</li><li>Comfortable working independently and traveling as needed</li><li>Professional communication skills with customers and vendors</li><li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and service environment</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose and repair marine systems on Freeman 56 models</li><li>Support warranty and service-related repairs</li><li>Troubleshoot and service:    <ul>      <li>Diesel generators (Fischer Panda, Northern Lights, Onan preferred)</li>      <li>Air conditioning systems</li>      <li>Ice makers</li>      <li>Chiller plates</li>      <li>Water makers</li>      <li>General 12V rigging systems</li>    </ul></li><li>Coordinate with vendors and technical support teams</li><li>Document and report work performed</li><li>Travel for field service and customer support as needed</li><li>Assist with sea trials and boat handling when required</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with Mercury V10/V12 outboards</li><li>ABYC certification</li><li>Marine electronics experience including MFDs, radars, and stereos</li><li>Fiberglass and basic gelcoat repair experience</li><li>Boat handling experience on vessels up to 60’</li></ul><p><strong>Travel Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice</li><li>Ability to travel for periods up to one week</li><li>Valid passport or ability to obtain one</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life &amp; disability + more!</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid time off and holidays&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Please note:&nbsp;Employment with Freeman Boatworks is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.</p>",
