Description
Overview
CVP is seeking a Research and Evaluation Quantitative Analyst to join our growing Health Research and Technology team. This Analyst will join our team in examining impact, delivery and implementation of evidence-based practices and services to address Substance Use Disorder (SUD) across rural communities in 47 states, identifying methods that will ensure these vital programs remain operational beyond the life of the funding.
Responsibilities
Apply analytical methods to identify distributions, patterns, trends, and correlations/causality using behavioral health data (e.g., substance and opioid misuse outcomes, service capacity, performance indicators)
Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple behavioral health data sources to support evaluation of the Health Resources and Services Administration's Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP)
Qualifications
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in public health, social sciences, public policy, or statistics.
Proficiency in statistical software packages (Python or R Required) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience in conducting research and data analysis using quantitative methods to identify distributions, patterns, trends, and correlation/causality within the data.
Knowledge of qualitative data analysis techniques and mixed methods.
Experience with analyzing behavioral health and/or opioid-related datasets (e.g., HRSA datasets, CDC WONDER, hospital claims)
Experience summarizing analytical findings into detailed reports, data briefs, presentations, and factsheets.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting analytical findings to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
Experience with survey programming (e.g., Alchemer, SurveyMonkey) is a plus.
Experience with proposal/grant writing is a plus.
Location: 100% remote.
Salary: $80,000-$85,000
