This position will be based out of Easton, PA. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Key Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Preventive Maintenance:</strong> Conduct routine inspections of machines, equipment, and facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to prevent breakdowns.</li><li><strong>Repairs:</strong> Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and repair/replace defective parts using specialized tools.</li><li><strong>Facility Upkeep:</strong> Perform general maintenance, including painting, carpentry, structural repairs, and exterior maintenance (e.g., snow removal).</li><li><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Ensure all machinery and building operations adhere to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, fire codes).</li><li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repair costs, and service logs in a computerized system.</li><li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Serve as the primary contact for facility-related emergencies, such as power outages or leaks.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance is strongly preferred.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Usually 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or industrial repair.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiencies:</strong> Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.</li><li><strong>Physical Stamina:</strong> Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions (hot/cold/loud).</li><li><strong>Tools:</strong> Skill in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong><br>Maintenance technicians frequently work in factories, schools, apartment complexes, or office buildings. The job requires standing, walking, bending, and using hands to handle, feel, or reach, often in confined spaces or at high elevation.</p><p><br></p><p>WORK CONDITIONS&nbsp;<br>Normal plant environment which may include exposure to dust, and both hot and cold conditions. Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards.
