    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This is a data engineer role within the Global Market Data Department at StoneX. The data engineer will actively collaborate with engineering lead for delivery of ongoing data projects. Data Engineer will contribute and assist in implementing components within our cloud data platform for ongoing operations and new market data projects. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively contribute toward development, data quality improvement, testing and implementation of ongoing projects.</li>\n <li>Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current and emerging technology tools and their benefits. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete data transformation, data storage and data distribution. </li>\n <li>Ability to technical problems, study and transform data as needed.</li>\n <li>Contribute toward improving data quality of StoneX strategic data assets. </li>\n <li>Participate in scrum and sprint rituals.</li>\n <li>Able to follow direction and deliver on tight timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Application Development across large enterprises. Understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns, Object Oriented & Service Oriented principles, design patterns, industry best practices</li>\n <li>Foundation knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and Designing for performance.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of C# and PySpark.</li>\n <li>Experience with Azure databricks desired.</li>\n <li>Experience in database technology like MSSQL or Postgres or MySQL and one of key value and document databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, Casandra</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communications skills.</li>\n</ul>",
