Counsels Drivers on performance issues and areas for improvement.</li>\n <li>Supervises assigned Lead Drivers.</li>\n <li>Works with Dunkin’ Stores and Distribution Center (as a liaison) in problem solving delivery issues.</li>\n <li>Administers progressive discipline when required.</li>\n <li>Enforces all company polices, DOT and FMCSA regulations.</li>\n <li>Assists Operations Scheduler with driver’s weekly schedules, vacations, and time off requests.</li>\n <li>Orientates and develops new drivers.</li>\n <li>Assists in compiling, monitoring, managing, and implementing the driver performance metrics and incentive program if applicable.</li>\n <li>Manage fleet utilization, tracking status of vehicle/equipment, monitoring equipment on Out of Service report and working with Penske/Ryder as needed.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with DOT hours of service.</li>\n <li>Reacts timely and effectively to breakdowns and accidents.</li>\n <li>Oversees Hub Locations (as assigned) with possible overnight travel to hub locations assessing routes and Drivers.</li>\n <li>Assists Router in daily route planning as needed.</li>\n <li>Works with the Safety Manager on proper safe driving techniques, proper lifting, and training in all required DOT regulations.</li>\n <li>Accepts and assists with special projects as required.<p> </p></li>\n <li><p>Supervision Exercised</p><p>This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of  approximately 40 associates ( Drivers, Dispatch & Delivery assistants)</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>CDL Class A License and active DOT Medical Card required.</strong></li>\n <li>3 to 5 years' experience managing a high-volume delivery route; preferably food delivery experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a transportation-related role within the quick service restaurant industry.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Rules and Regulations. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of related OSHA standards and regulations.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. </li>\n <li>SAP experience preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>On-Board Computer System Experience required</strong>. </li>\n <li>Prior experience with routing software.
