Our organization helps propel us forward and achieve true mission partnership.\n What You’ll Do:\n Define and lead the execution of integrated supply chain strategy and transformation initiatives that support SMS growth, strengthen resilience, and ensure customer success. Partner directly with the SMS Procurement Lead to align enterprise procurement strategy, drive supplier development, improve risk posture, and ensure readiness across the supply base. Lead transformation efforts across sourcing, supplier development, procurement, material planning, logistics, and digital capabilities to build a modern, scalable, and mission‑aligned supply chain. Champion a continuous improvement culture that enhances predictability, increases efficiency, and drives performance excellence across all supply chain functions. Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Programs, Operations, and other BAE sectors to ensure alignment with SMS strategy, modernization efforts, and rapid production scaling needs. Build trust‑based relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, recognizing that supply chain performance is achieved through people, influence, and partnership. Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, development, and shared success. Drive change management with a focus on communication, transparency, engagement, and adoption—ensuring new practices, tools, and processes take hold across all levels of the organization. Benchmark internal and external best in class aerospace and defense practices to identify strategic opportunities and elevate SMS supply chain capabilities. Strengthen cross sector collaboration to harmonize processes, improve decision‑making, and enable scalable, enterprise‑wide solutions.
