Our Agentic AI team builds next-generation AI applications and enhances existing products using advanced Generative AI capabilities.  As a Senior AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications that solve real business problems at scale. You will work with foundation models, create robust prompting and RAG pipelines, integrate agentic frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI experiences for our users and clients. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Agentic AI Engineering</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with LLMs and multimodal models from various vendors (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, Anthropic Claude, etc.). </li>\n <li>Build AI-powered features such as conversational assistants, summarization systems, OCR pipelines, copilots, and agentic workflows. </li>\n <li>Evaluate and implement LLMs, vector databases, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks based on project needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Prompt Engineering</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop reliable, optimized prompts for various generative AI use cases. </li>\n <li>Address edge cases, reduce hallucinations, and improve model consistency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Application Development</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build end-to-end features, including UI integrations (React/Vue/Svelte) and backend services (MCP, WebRTC, REST, gRPC). </li>\n <li>Produce clean, production-ready Python and JavaScript/TypeScript code. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Evaluation & Quality</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to evaluation frameworks that test LLM performance, grounding, safety, and reliability. </li>\n <li>Participate in model benchmarking and continuous improvement cycles. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with AI engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver integrated AI experiences. </li>\n <li>Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical collaborators. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Innovation & Experimentation</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stay current with emerging AI trends and tools. </li>\n <li>Build prototypes and PoCs to explore new ideas and validate approaches. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Business Alignment</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop an understanding of RealPage’s products, workflows, and customer needs to ensure AI solutions deliver meaningful impact. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>4–6 years in Software Engineering or Data Science, with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI and LLMs. </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or equivalent experience. </li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL. </li>\n <li>Practical experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, RAG patterns, and agentic frameworks. </li>\n <li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. </li>\n <li>Ability to write clean, production-grade code and participate in system design discussions. </li>\n <li>Strong analytical and communication skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with frameworks like OpenAI Agent SDK, AI SDK, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Mastra. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with AI observability tools (LangSmith, OpenTelemetry). </li>\n <li>Experience building voice-enabled AI experiences using STT APIs, TTS engines, or realtime audio (WebRTC, Twilio Voice, Socket.IO). </li>\n <li>Knowledge of multi-turn conversation design and dialogue management. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>SALARY AND BENEFITS</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>RealPage provides a competitive salary package along with a comprehensive benefit plan that includes:</em></li>\n <li><em>Health, dental, and vision insurance.</em></li>\n <li><em>Retirement savings plan with company match.</em></li>\n <li><em>Paid time off and holidays.</em></li>\n <li><em>Professional development opportunities.</em></li>\n <li><em>Performance-based bonus based on position. #LI-JK1 #LI-HYBRID</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges.
