This position requires routine interaction and communication between managers, clients, suppliers, and team members. </strong></p> \n<strong>Benefits include Family Medical Care Plan, National Electrical Benefit Fund & National Electrical Annuity Plan. </strong>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans and supervises activities including determining the method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule</li>\n <li>Trains and manages other field staff</li>\n <li>Through assigned Foremen, manages the day-to-day activities of the construction operation</li>\n <li>In conjunction with the Project Manager, creates and maintains project schedule; plans monitor, and reviews critical path dates and milestone schedules</li>\n <li>Communicates site problems, conflicts, schedules, and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner</li>\n <li>Resolves field construction problems</li>\n <li>Maintains open communication between all subcontractors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support project activities and project schedule</li>\n <li>Monitors field staff & subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements; ensures that weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks are completed; ensures that corrective measures are implemented</li>\n <li>Assists the Safety Department in performing incident and/or accident investigations and follow-up</li>\n <li>Understands all subcontractors’ scopes; assures subcontractors maintain schedules, and quality standards to meet contract requirements</li>\n <li>Assists the Project Manager with subcontractor disputes, quality control, and schedule coordination</li>\n <li>Works with the Project Manager and owner’s representatives to ensure work complies with drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Supports the Project Manager in the negotiation of claims and changes</li>\n <li>Provides input to Project Manager regarding cost and schedule forecasts</li>\n <li>Assists the Project Manager with Change Order review</li>\n <li>Performs project close-out and ensures punch list is completed in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Mentors Project Associates assigned to the project</li>\n</ul> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of three years experience on construction projects in a Data Center Foreman or Healthcare General Foreman role (or higher) position</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret construction documents</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups</li>\n <li>Good organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making ability</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
