    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Writing Center on the Uintah Basin Campus seeks to fill a vacancy for all, spring, and/or summer semesters. The successful applicant will be expected to perform both face-to face tutoring as well as on-line live tutoring via http://distance.usu.edu/tutoring/.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This position involves helping students become better writers.</li>\n <li>This position will require successful applicants to work an average of six hours per week as Writing Center peer responders.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of English 1010 and 2010</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skill as well as well as a desire to read and respond to student writing assignments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) on-line tutoring interface.</li>\n <li>Exception listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal abilities.</li>\n <li>Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Documents</h2>\n<p>Along with the online application, please attach:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Resume to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under “Resume/CV”</li>\n <li>Cover letter to be typed/pasted at the end of your application</li>\n</ul>\n<p>**Document size may not exceed 10 MB.**</p>\n<h2>Advertised Salary</h2>$15.00/hr\n<h2>ADA</h2>\n<p>Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
