    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technician for TAR Work</strong></p><p><strong>TEMPORARY PROJECT: 3-4 weeks beginning in early April</strong></p><p><strong>LOCATION: Washington State</strong></p><p>Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a <strong>Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technician&nbsp;</strong>to join our Asset Integrity Management team for a 3-4-week long project based in <strong>Washington State</strong>.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>&nbsp;The <strong>Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technician</strong> will support the Industry Services business by&nbsp;performing assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies with applicable codes, standards,&nbsp;and specific job requirements. We’re looking for an experienced Technician with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus. Must be willing to travel.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>this is a short-term, project-based position working 10–12-hour shifts, 6 days per week for a period of approximately 3-4 weeks beginning on or around April 4, 2026. Certification testing will take place in the weeks prior to travel to the site in Washington at either our Houston, TX or Ferndale, WA office, which will be fully paid at a training rate.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p><strong>The base wage or salary range for this position is $26.00-$34.00 upon project commencement at the client facility and may also be eligible for a per diem. &nbsp;Round trip air transportation will be provided, if necessary. The base wage during the training/certification phase prior to travel will be $18.00. &nbsp;</strong>Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform various nondestructive inspections at a client facility under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently</li><li>Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner</li><li>Interface with clients on technical matters involving NDE procedures and capabilities</li><li>Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers</li><li>Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies that may be applicable in our business</li><li>Apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results</li><li>Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors</li></ul><p><strong>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
