We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform. Partner with the best You will be selling Akamai solutions to existing & new public sector customers in Germany. You will be responsible for the full customer life cycle. You will be working with Marketing and Channel Partners on lead generation to deal closure, customer management & renewals. You'll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success with new customer acquisition & building customer loyalty. As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for: Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs. Establishing Akamai as a key player for cybersecurity, cloud and internet performance in the German public sector. Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Prospecting and acquiring new customers. Upselling & Cross selling the Akamai portfolio to your install base. Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the value of their Akamai services. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have relevant sales experience working with Public Sector customers in Germany. Have experience selling enterprise-class technology, cybersecurity, software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions. Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at management level. Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers. Be fluent in German and have good skills in English.
