    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION OVERVIEW:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Early Childhood Social Worker supports the healthy development and well-being of children ages 0–5 and their families across multiple early childhood education sites. Reporting to the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Director, with direct supervision provided by the division Social Work Consultant, this role is responsible for designing and implementing responsive, trauma-informed social services that align with program goals and community needs.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span><br></p>\n<p>Master’s Degree in Social Work; Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certification required and four years of experience working with at-risk youth/families.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in creating, implementing and measuring effectiveness of programs</li>\n<li>Experience working with youth (ages 0 – 5) in community-based settings</li>\n<li>Excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Strong technology skills</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to manage crises, attend events, or meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span><br>Bilingual in Spanish/English.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Program Design &amp; Implementation\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with development and execution an annual, comprehensive social services plan for families and participants.</li>\n<li>Conduct needs assessments and create action plans to address identified needs.</li>\n<li>Design and implement annual family engagement plans, including psychoeducational workshops in collaboration with the ECE leadership team</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Staff Supervision &amp; Development\n<ul>\n<li>Provide individual and group supervision to the Social Worker and MSW/BSW interns.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the ECE Director and Hudson Guild departments to develop and implement an annual professional development plan.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Direct Services &amp; Collaboration\n<ul>\n<li>Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed support as needed.</li>\n<li>Attend bi-monthly conferences with school staff to identify children in need of social services.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with teaching teams, family workers, and leadership to promote holistic, strengths-based engagement.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Data, Evaluation &amp; Compliance\n<ul>\n<li>Collect and enter participant data in a timely and accurate manner.</li>\n<li>Engage in data analysis processes led by the Evaluation and Quality team to identify strengths and areas for improvement.</li>\n<li>Monitor programmatic targets and ensure all activities align with departmental goals.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Community Engagement &amp; Organizational Support\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively network and build relationships with community resources to enhance service delivery.</li>\n<li>Engage in ongoing professional development and apply evidence-based best practices.</li>\n<li>Perform other program-related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS: </span>Travel between multiple sites consisting of school, office, and community center environments and have availability during program hours of 8 am – 6 pm.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: </span>The position requires constant communication with participants and co-workers; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as phone and copy machines.
