Without them, we would not have a service to provide. They are more than &ldquo;just a driver&rdquo;; they transport our future generations to and from school with a positive attitude, a cheerful greeting, and respect &ndash; all while maintaining a safe and timely bus ride. Each driver is a part of the family we&rsquo;ve created and view each day as another opportunity to serve the community.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br> <strong>Specific driver responsibilities include the following:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: undefined;margin-left:undefined;\"><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Maintain the &ldquo;People Standard&rdquo; of the company which includes but is not limited to maintaining a positive attitude, great work ethic, self-motivated, team player, follow through on commitments, and be reliable.</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Perform all driving duties with the utmost safety and use of defensive driving techniques.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Communicate with students about how to unload and load the school bus, where the bus stop is located, and safety at bus stops safely and properly.</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Maintain close communications with dispatch on route movements and times and report any variances, in particular emergency situations or hazards.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Confidentiality is a serious matter which includes child and family privacy. Drivers must understand the importance of respecting privacy for students and their families.</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Interior cleanliness of the bus is a driver&rsquo;s responsibility. A regular standard is the bus swept and/or dust mopped daily, and garbage dumped after each a.m. route.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Fueling the vehicle is required at locations using authorized card locks or bulk fuel systems.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Daily attendance for assigned daily duties is required.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Driver is responsible to be knowledgeable of the rules and regulations to maintain qualified school bus driver&rsquo;s license in Pennsylvania. The driver is responsible for reporting to the Location Manager any traffic citation or violations, or criminal convictions, that would be adverse in maintaining a valid school bus driving license.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"line-height:115%;color:black;font-size:12.0pt;color:black;\">Maintain Pupil Management on their bus routes. Remind the students of bus rules and train them on proper behavior on a school bus.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div>\n",
