    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>DEPARTMENT:</strong>&nbsp;UnRacking</span></p><p><span><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong>&nbsp;Crane Operator</span></p><p><span><strong>REPORTS TO:&nbsp;</strong>Shift Facilitator</span></p><p><span><strong>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS</strong>:&nbsp; 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Fri) 11:00 pm- 7 am) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>What You Will Be Responsible For:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Maintain safety (including housekeeping), quality, and productivity to meet daily goals&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Communicate with other Crane Operators, Racking Team Leader, Un-racking Team Leader, Team Members, and Special Ops Department to maximize productivity and prioritize availability&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Acute attention to crane and affected work areas&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Manage carrier flow throughout shift&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Complete operation and mechanical inspections on crane and report/document any issues&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Dry parts as needed&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Maintain carrier flow between hold/overflow area, dryer, racking, strip line tank, un-racking area, and Special Ops by balancing availability and demand&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Etch and rinse carriers both empties and rework to predetermined specifications&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>Work Environment / Physical Demands:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.</span></li><li><span>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</span></li><li><span>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>What You Will Need:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Pass all certifications, training, testing, and qualification requirements.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Communicate verbally and in written text with Supervisors, Team Lead, and Team Members&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Operate all tools and equipment used in the crane operation process&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Simple arithmetic required (calculating load weights against crane restrictions, counting, adding, and multiplying piece counts)&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Distinguish safe stable loads from unsafe ones&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Understand and follow </span><i><span><strong>CRANE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS&nbsp;</strong></span></i></li><li><span>Adjust plans as needed and required&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Assist in training of employees <strong>(in direct coordination with Leads, Supervisors, and Qualification Training Guides)</strong>&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Basic understanding of strip line, un-racking and racking requirements&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Medium to heavy physical demand, frequent lifting, carrying parts, stooping, kneeling, balancing, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Repetitive hand/wrist and arm movement is required. Must have an acute awareness of conditions and hazards associated with the job&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Must be able to lift parts up to 50lbs, and less frequently, parts up to 100lbs with help. Constant lifting in the 1-20lb range&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Must move from area to area of crane operation as instructed by supervisor and may require other duties as assigned by Supervisor</span></li><li><span>Must pass a company background check and drug screen.</span></li></ul>",
