We are currently seeking  experienced and detail-oriented <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> to join our team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#DekaCareers</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Wages starting at $35</strong></p>\n<p><strong>$5,000 Sign On/Retention Bonus</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Opportunities primarily available on 2nd and 3rd shift.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong>The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery, equipment, and production lines. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.</li>\n <li>Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify the functionality of equipment.</li>\n <li>Document repairs, calibrations, and part replacements in maintenance logs.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installs or modifications.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.</li>\n <li>*Maintains regular attendance.</li>\n <li>*Ability to work mandatory over time.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as requested by Management.</li>\n <li>Responsible for producing a high quality product.</li>\n <li>Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.</li>\n <li>Equal Opportunity Employer.</li>\n <li>*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.</li>\n <li>2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to bend, twist, do extensive walking, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand-eye coordination.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid state driver's license.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with automation systems and robotic equipment.</li>\n <li>Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g. Maintenance Technician Certification).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>East Penn Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>East Penn offers excellent benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation</li>\n <li>Group insurance that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage</li>\n <li>401K savings plan</li>\n <li>Annual bonus</li>\n <li>9 paid holidays and 10 paid vacation days</li>\n <li>Employee assistance programs</li>\n <li>Fitness Discounts</li>\n <li>Promotional opportunities</li>\n <li>Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, and Uniform provided or reimbursed by the company</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Maintenance employees have the benefit of company supplied tools during their career at East Penn.</p>",
