    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A welcoming, multi-generational family seeks a super-engaged Mother's Help/Nanny to start ASAP.  The usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm, and please be aware that the parents are likely around for most of the time, and enjoy being hands on!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The successful candidate will be comfortable in a shared care environment and will have prior experience with toddlers (she is currently 17-months-old).  Responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing a warm and loving environment that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual development</li>\n <li>Researching and taking the child to fun, educational and enriching local classes and playgroups</li>\n <li>Light housekeeping pertaining to the baby, including laundry and ironing, and keeping associated areas very clean and tidy</li>\n <li>Potty-training, when the time comes!</li>\n <li>Helping with the morning and evening routines, encouraging healthy sleep habits</li>\n <li>All aspects of toddler care including feeding, nap schedules, evening routines etc</li>\n <li>Working closely with Mom, offering guidance, support, and up-to-date knowledge</li>\n <li>Engaging child in creative, imaginative, and developmentally appropriate play</li>\n <li>Supporting emotional regulation, communication, manners, and boundaries in a warm but firm manner</li>\n <li>Working collaboratively with parents and other staff</li>\n <li>Supporting transitions, changes in routine, and evolving family needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Confident drivers preferred</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of milestones and development</li>\n <li>Professional, polished but with a warm, considerate and caring personality</li>\n <li>Calm, confident, and comfortable holding age-appropriate boundaries</li>\n <li>Able to partner effectively with family members and other household staff</li>\n <li>Able to engage with the children at their level, and encourage learning through play and exploration </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Organised and very tidy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>From $40/hr, depending on experience</li>\n <li>Open to considering relocation for the right candidate</li>\n</ul>",
