We prioritize our people, our partners, and our relationships. Start your journey today and join our skilled team. We are seeking a driven, resourceful, and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruiting Team and support hiring for large-scale construction projects across multiple markets. This individual will serve as a strategic recruiting partner to field leadership and hiring managers, helping ensure projects are staffed with qualified talent to meet operational demands and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume skilled trades and construction field positions. Partner closely with field operations leaders, project managers, and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies. Build and maintain active pipelines of qualified skilled trades candidates across multiple geographic markets. Source candidates through job boards, trade schools, workforce development programs, union and non-union channels, community organizations, referrals, social media, and industry networking. Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate skills, certifications, experience, work eligibility, and project fit. Leverage bilingual communication skills to engage Spanish-speaking candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Coordinate interviews, hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting campaigns to support workforce demands. Develop relationships with local trade schools, workforce agencies, community organizations, and industry associations to expand talent pipelines. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience. Collaborate with onboarding and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance through project onboarding. Track recruiting metrics and provide reporting on hiring activity, pipeline health, time-to-fill, and workforce trends. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Promote the company's employer brand and culture within the construction and skilled trades community. Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting construction, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or high-volume workforce environments. Demonstrated success recruiting for field-based construction positions such as electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, and other skilled trades roles. Experience managing high-volume requisitions and hiring demands across multiple projects or locations. Strong sourcing and networking skills with experience utilizing Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, trade-specific job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and community outreach. Ability to build strong relationships with field leadership, hiring managers, and candidates. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of construction workforce trends, labor markets, and recruiting best practices preferred. Experience conducting hiring events, job fairs, and community-based recruiting initiatives. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to travel locally as needed to support hiring events, project sites, and workforce initiatives. Required Language Skills Fluent bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) are required. Ability to effectively communicate, interview, and build relationships with English- and Spanish-speaking candidates, employees, and hiring managers. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent recruiting experience will be considered. Construction, skilled trades, industrial staffing, workforce development, or field recruiting experience strongly preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting for electrical contractors, data center construction, mission-critical projects, commercial construction, industrial construction, or specialty trades organizations. Familiarity with workforce development programs, apprenticeship programs, and trade school partnerships. Experience supporting rapid workforce ramp-ups for large-scale construction projects.
