    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div>THE TEEN CENTERCOUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING POSITION SUMMARY:<br>Counselors in Training (CIT&#39;s) will provide tutoring assistance to other participants at the Teen Center After School program for youth during the school year. Summertime CIT&#39;s will provide tutoring assistance to other participants at the teen center, will provide peer leadership for summer program activities and will assist in the facilitation of focus groups.&nbsp;<br><br>REPORTS TO:<br>Program Director or Assistant Director of the Teen Center<br><br>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;<br>Responsible for assisting with activities at Teen Center.<br>Responsible for providing tutoring assistance for Teen Center participants After School Program (during the school year).<br>Act as a positive role model for other members of the program.<br>Assist with focus groups when appropriate.<br>Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.<br>Trained in and able to implement crisis de-escalation techniques.<br>Trained in youth mediation skills (if applicable)Participate in all youth activities, including field trips.<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>Age requirement 14-18<br>Able to acquire and demonstrate appropriate work behavior including attendance, focus on job tasks, ability to follow through with instructions.<br>Provide a positive role model to others in the program.<br>Linguistic capacity to work with identified population.</div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Our benefits are competitive and include a 403(b) savings plan and generous time off (benefits may vary based on position and scheduled hours<strong>).</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>The base pay range reflects what Catholic Charities reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time.
