We are looking for people who are willing to work in a fast paced medical environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Applicants will be considered if currently residing within the state of Colorado. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer phones for clinic system</li>\n<li>Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other appointments.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Confirm patient information including demographic and insurance information.</li>\n<li>Educate patients on procedure preparations, appropriate dress requirements, special instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritize work for optimal reimbursement and to avoid financial risk to both patient and clinic. Refer self-pay patients to financial counseling.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate patient encounter utilizing multiple system applications: various scheduling applications, clinical operating systems, eligibility verification systems, medical necessity applications, scanning repository.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shift</span>: Day time and evening, 8 hour shifts 8:00-4:30pm, M-F, rotating Saturday</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>One (1) year customer service</li>\n<li>Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance and billing<br></li>\n<li>Bilingual in Spanish, a plus</li>\n<li>Must live in Colorado for this remote position</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span>:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k)</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Health insurance<br></li>\n<li>Vision insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off</li>\n<li>Discretionary bonus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation: $19 - $24/hr, based on location, education, skills, and experience.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 28, 29)\">Anticipated Application Window - This role is anticipated to close within 30 days from the date of posting.  However, if the position has not been filled, PLH may keep the application period open longer.</span></span></em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>",
