font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead software engineering efforts to open, investigate, design, implement, and test software engineering solutions on existing RTS software products.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Coordinate with Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Configuration Management, and Test Operations to ensure successful integration, verification, and validation of new software releases.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Support all RTS software products to include Optics, Radar, and Telemetry sensors, and Space Surveillance Software in support of the Department of Defense.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain existing software projects by preventing code rot, upgrading systems, and resolving critical software bugs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Produce Static Code Analysis reports; Remediate critical cyber vulnerabilities as needed. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Support Reagan Test Site missions as well as RTS technical projects involving software and other technical support.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Guide internal software Issue Review Boards (IRBs) to triage all new problem reports and feature requests.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><u><strong>Required Skills</strong></u></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Solid understanding and proficiency using the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and languages (Preferably C++ or Java).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or other Linux/Unix-based Operating Systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Proficiency with Version Control using GIT, as well as GIT-based products like GitLab.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
