This is a full time and hybrid in the DC Metro area.\n\n Roles and Responsibilities \n\n Design, develop, and maintain cloud and virtualized environments, ensuring high availability and scalability of deployed systems.\n Manage and configure load balancer devices to optimize traffic distribution and system performance.\n Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications and microservices architecture.\n Support and administer Oracle Databases and Oracle Middleware to ensure reliability, performance, and security.\n Collaborate with software teams to support Java/J2EE application development and deployment.\n Manage and support Windows and Linux based application servers across development and production environments.\n Leverage automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Airflow, and Liquibase for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and orchestration.\n Create, maintain, and optimize Lambda functions to support serverless architecture within cloud platforms.\n Support the implementation and maintenance of business intelligence and reporting solutions.\n Communicate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.\n Ensure secure and efficient operations of financial systems platforms, maintaining compliance with relevant standards.\n Utilize MS Office 365 tools for documentation, collaboration, and reporting tasks.\n Act as a subject matter expert for cloud services and Oracle suite administration.\n\n Additional duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n\n At least 5 years of experience working as a System Engineer responsible for development and operations of cloud and other virtualized environments\n\n At least 5 years of experience working with:\n\n Load balancer devices\n\n Lambda functions\n\n Containerizations\n\n Oracle Databases\n\n Oracle Middleware\n\n Java/J2E\n\n MS Office 365\n\n Previous experience and expertise in load balancer devices, Windows application servers, JAVA, and Oracle middleware to handle business process orchestration and automation/deployments tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Airflow, and Liquibase\n\n Expert experience supporting cloud and virtual environments\n Technically able to discuss technical issues with non technical staff\n Previous experience supporting financial system platforms\n Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust Clearance\n\n Preferred \n\n Previous DHS/ICE experience is preferred\n Experience in deploying and maintaining systems or services in a Windows and Linux environments.\n Experience in developing and deploying business intelligence reporting solutions.\n Expert in Oracle suite administration.\n\n Benefits\n\nAstor & Sanders Corporation (www.astor sanders.com) offers a unique, stimulating and challenging environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance.
