For remote roles, candidates must be located in the following states: </em></strong><em>AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY.</em><em> </em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Under general supervision, learns to perform duties in Risk Management. This position has the responsibility for supporting risk management activities related to risk assessments and practices. This includes non-financial risk assessments, risk reviews, and supporting GRC software activities. Must be comfortable working with large amounts of data in multiple systems and can synthesize data into actionable insights. Frequent collaboration with other areas of the credit union is expected. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Internship to start Fall 2026. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Competitive pay starting at $20/hr.Must be enrolled at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina to qualify for a Grow Financial internship. Start date: Monday, September 14th,Tuesday, September 15th, or Wednesday September 16thOrientation Friday September 18th</strong><em>We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering or Risk Management from an accredited college or university. </li>\n <li>Successful completion of a risk management course preferred. </li>\n <li>Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is preferred. </li>\n <li>Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently. </li>\n <li>Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.</li>\n <li>Must be able to hear and use a telephone. </li>\n <li>Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations. </li>\n <li>Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.</li>\n <li>Standard Business hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday</li>\n <li>Interns will have flexibility around school schedules.
