To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a security guard.  Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Security Guards are expected to have a valid BSIS guard card.</li>\n<li>A successful Security Guard will be able to operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.</li>\n<li>Security Guards should be able to write an accurate detailed report.</li>\n<li>As Security Guard you will be expected to count chips with a limited number of mistakes.</li>\n<li>Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.</li>\n<li>Security Guards should expect to work any shift. Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.</li>\n <li>MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid California Guard Card.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.</li>\n <li>Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical and mental requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.</li>\n <li>Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.</li>\n <li>Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>Parkwest Casino is an equal opportunity employer.
