Nelson Mullins is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Commercial Litigation group in its <strong>Houston office.</strong></p>\n<h2>A Day in the Life</h2>\n<p>From the firm’s Houston office located in the Heritage Plaza building, visitors can experience all downtown Houston has to offer from the 53-floor skyscraper location that finished a new renovation in 2021. Found in the heart of the city’s central business district, the building and area are heavily influenced by the culture of Houston and its community. As Houston continues to grow rapidly, it has become one of the major hubs for the tech industry and is home to a flourishing metro area and economy.</p> \n<em>All candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, and copy of their law school transcript. </em>\n<h2>We Know You</h2>\n<p>You have at least<strong> 3 but no more than 7 years of meaningful commercial litigation experience in a mid-size to large law firm setting or litigation boutique</strong>, or a similar level of trial experience in other settings. You’re prepared to <strong>draft and argue complex motions</strong>, to <strong>propound and respond to discovery</strong>, to <strong>take and defend depositions</strong>, to <strong>assist in in both jury trials and bench trials</strong>, and you bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are <strong>admitted to and in good standing with the Texas Bar. Former federal clerkships are a plus. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.\n  <ul>\n   <li>In Houston, the salary/wage range is $230,000 - $320,000 annually.
