The ideal candidate must have knowledge in stormwater, road, entrance, water distribution for domestic/fire, sewer systems to include pump stations and grading.<br></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">DBF’s portfolio includes projects of a wide variety, so if you are looking to expand your repertoire and improve your abilities, this position is the perfect fit for you. No hybrid or remote work is available at this time.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(52, 73, 94); font-size: 18px; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Utilize design software, computer aided drafting, and other applicable tools to assist in planning, designing, and permit projects such as water infrastructure, sanitary sewer infrastructure, roadway and entrance designs, streetscape improvements, and stormwater conveyance/management for both residential and commercial sites, including subdivisions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Facilitate communication with private contractors and clientele with plan reviews, project planning, and associated coordination with regulatory agencies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Perform civil design analysis and calculations, according to project requirements, with review from supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Collaborate and plan projects based on the analysis of relevant materials such as drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, amps and other geologic and topographical data.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Draft and present reports on topics related to projects such as stormwater reports and right-of-way descriptions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Estimate materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Assist in coordinating permitting with local agencies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Perform other related duties as assigned.<br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(52, 73, 94); font-size: 18px; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Skills</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The preferred candidate would possess a four (4) year degree in civil engineering or will complete one within the first 12 months of employment.
