Location: Food Store Vanderhoof, BC.

Job Overview: Reporting to the Food Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
Cultivate a team that embodies our Co-op brand values: Locally Invested, Community-Minded, and Lifetime Membership Benefits. Collaborate with the Food Store Manager to develop operating plans, budgets, and adjustments to meet or exceed department goals. Oversee purchasing, inventory management, invoicing, and pricing strategies to optimize sales and margins while maintaining minimal shrink. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety programs and asset protection protocols. Manage scheduling, daily workload delegation, and team performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and conflict resolution. Attend management and training meetings as required and work cooperatively with other departments and suppliers. Handle and prepare bakery/deli products according to company standards and food safety protocols. Perform regular heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. What You Bring:
Grade 12 Required. Diploma in Business or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years leading and managing teams/direct, preferably in a related or service industry Experience with planning, budgeting, and operating statements Knowledge of Food Store industry and inventory control procedures Strong computer skills and technical knowledge
