    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Meets regularly with staff to coordinate, plan, assign and schedule work tasks; Tasks include, but are not limited to: EI sketch review, project scopes of work, design reports, SCADA and telecommunications device settings, neighboring entity notifications, as well as maintenance and field staff support.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ensures leadership is provided in the development of assigned SCADA and telecommunications standards and coordinates with the other Engineering groups to ensure they are followed consistently.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Provides input into the annual capital maintenance budget process with focus on field communications projects. Perform regular review of the status of the budget.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Works closely with the other engineering groups to ensure efficient and effective processes are followed in the course of work.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Oversees NERC Reliability Standards assignments to staff Subject Matter Experts for both 693 and CIP requirements.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Coaches, mentors and performs performance reviews and guides training and development of employees with their Employee Self-Development Plans.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Interviews and evaluates candidates for employment and makes hiring recommendations.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Actively participates in industry forums, conferences and staff recruiting activities.</span></span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>REQUIREMENTS</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Bachelor of Science degree (Electrical Engineering preferred) or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Minimum of five (5) years of engineering work experience.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Minimum of two (2) years of engineering power system protection and control systems.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrates knowledge of electric system components and related functions.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrates effective leadership and motivational skills, which includes mentoring, coaching, developing co-workers and/or subordinates in a team-oriented environment.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrates ability to analyze performance measures and implement process improvements.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrates effective interpersonal, verbal and written skills.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Possesses a valid driver's license.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
